Airplane Reading

Yes, dear readers, I’m on a plane again. No, dear readers, my wife is not psyched about it.

But, as I told her, it’s not my fault! I’m filling in for an injured friend and colleague who had a run in with car while biking (not recommended). So, while my unskilled biking friend is already on the mend, the 20 (!) hour flight to Melbourne was out of the question. So here I am. On a plane. Again.

Anyway, 20 hours is a lot of time to be in an airplane. So, as per usual, I’ve got some reading with me:

First, I’ll be reading a chapter of Raffaele Bertin’s PhD Thesis entitled “Arab Sovereign Wealth Funds and Investments in Land and Water in Sub Saharan Africa Countries”. Looks interesting.

Second, I’ll be reading a paper by Gábor Dávid Kiss entitled “Market Dependency and Financial Buffers in Russia.” Promising.

See you in Melbourne!

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, or so I hope.
