Airplane Reading

February 01, 2012

I'm on a plane. Again

By Ashby Monk

I’m off to Cartagena, Colombia for a Stanford University Forum on infrastructure opportunities and investing in the region. I’ll be doing a bit of moderating and lot of listening. Should be good. Anyway, I’ll also be spending a lot of time on airplanes, which means loading some interesting reading on my iThings. And since it’s an infrastructure investment conference, I thought I’d get in the mood a little.

First, Justin Y. Lin and Doerte Doemeland have a new World Bank Policy Research Paper entitled “Beyond Keynesianism: Global Infrastructure Investments in Times of Crisis”.

Second, Walt Schubert has a new paper in the Journal of Applied Business and Economics entitled “Sovereign Wealth Funds and Dedicated Infrastructure Investment”.

See you in Colombia!
